I played this with a unique group that included teenagers, midlife gents and the elderly. We all had a fun and frustrating time playing. It does make you feel like a detective as you had to read and reread witness statements, look at clues and motives, along with comparing what was said with what the timeline showed. What is fun is that you have to find the victim and then the murderer, but you do that sort of naturally as you unravel the mystery.
This is a great game for company parties or groups that want to learn to communicate better as you have to raise opinions, counter other's opinions with facts and state what you think happened with facts then defend them. This isn't a game that is over in twenty minutes but takes the entire evening, and will stick with you long after you finish playing.

I enjoyed playing the Dining in the Dark:Bone Appetit game. From pulling clues together, reading witness statements/bios of the characters and putting our own stories together, this game kept us engaged and eager to complete the two phases. I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun immersive game that is perfect for parties, family game nights or a girls night. As a person who loves watching and solving murder mysteries. I just knew I was a real detective by the end of the game.
It was great! Really thought out with the details for the game. We were really shocked who the killer is.
What a wild ride! At this time I thought I was a full time detective the way I’ve been hooked on these games!! This was another edge of your seat mystery with a twist! The two part series is really captivating and keeps you fully engaged. The case is an easy ready leaving you very clear in your role and what is needed. The character development is impressive and leaves you wanting to either lock them up and pray they are free; as if they are real!! At this point the creator can do no wrong!! Grab this mystery, invite friends and family, and get your Sherlock Holmes on!!
